My name is Brandie Quick. I began my work in the field in October 2007 as a graduate assistant providing community supports for adults with special needs, and then as a Behavior Supports Specialist and Self-Advocacy Coordinator. In 2018, I made the transition to providing in-home ABA therapy to children ages 2-17. I fell in love with being able to work so closely with the children that we served, their families, and their RBTs in this setting because we were able to see their progress in real-time, and to watch their parents, caregivers, and even siblings become more understanding and proficient in supporting their loved ones. I was also able to experience working as a clinic-based BCBA/Clinic Director for children ages 2-6 from 2021 to 2024 and gained some very valuable experiences from working in this setting. In May 2024, I returned to providing supervision and support in a home-based setting because the 1:1 aspect of in-home services, as well as the close partnership that we are able to foster with parents, is very rewarding to me and I have seen some incredible outcomes in this setting.
I have had extensive experience in assessment, treatment planning, as well as providing training, supervision, and support to RBTs. I am also experienced in providing parent training and support. I have provided services directly in clinic, home, and community settings, and am also comfortable with providing Telehealth services when appropriate.
Seeing progress while it is happening and having the privilege of seeing young ABA practitioners become more confident and competent in supporting their clients and families. Also, getting to hear so many success stories over the years from parents and caregivers who are able to see their loved ones making great strides and being able to do things that they may not have thought were possible in the beginning.
Seeing how much of a difference quality ABA therapy can make in the lives of the individuals that we serve and their families
