
Carlton has been in the field of behavior analysis since 1995. Transitioned with wife and four children from Maryland to North Carolina. Carlton has a master’s degree in behavioral disorders and a doctorate degree with a focus in Special Education and Reading. Carlton’s graduate training in Applied behavior analysis was at Columbia University, Teachers College. Carlton began his career with a focus on psychology and education that emerged in a career path within Special Education.
Carlton uses applied behavior analysis approach to service individuals with emotional-behavior disorders, intellectual differences, learning disabilities, and autism.
Carlton's favorite experiences have been supporting individuals who are teens with hidden social nuances and trauma to improve socially meaningful experiences with others. Further supporting individuals with learning reading skills to improve function of life.
Carlton really enjoys the clinical practice aspect of behavior analysis and implementing evidence-based practices derived from research.
