I am a newlywed and have no kids. My favorite thing to do is enjoy a good show or movie on the television while cuddling my two dogs. My job is my personality and I would not have it any other way.
I enjoy talking through the steps of a protocol or intervention involving behavior principles to a technician to help them learn hands on. This is the way I was trained and I believe it made me the best I can be.
My favorite experience is seeing the joy on the technician's face when a client has mastered something. The relief you experience or watch someone experience saying "they did it. We did it."
Behavior is so individualized and there is never a dull moment in this field. I love it because it is not boring.
